

Process
Phase 1- Before your Arrival to Panama
You must register at http://bit.ly/startVisasP. You must attach criminal record with apostille and a copy of the general data of the passport. Here you have an example: http://bit.ly/EjemplosAP. We need this in order to verify your information and help you with the following steps.
Intern must bring documents from his/her country and deliver in the first week in Panama.
*If Intern's documents are not delivered in
15 days - A first e-mail reminder will be sent by AIESEC
4 weeks - 50% of Intern's salary is deducted by the company
6 weeks - Intern come back to his/her country
You will get an email telling you if your regitration and documents were successfully filed. This email will include the details of your VISA appointment. You will receive two listings: Document registration listing and VISA Process Document listing. Make sure you fill in both, each one has a different purpose.
Phase 2- When in Panama
You must go to the Nationa Migration Service between 6:30 am - 7:00 am with all your documents in order for both registration and VISA process. If you don't arrive at said time you will probably have to go the next day. AIESEC may or may not go with intern at the National Immigration Service.
Visas Partner will do the check verification process and Morgan & Morgan(M&M) will validate all the documents. This process take about a week and a half. If there are no errors the documents are delivered to M&M within one day of legal manager delivery. If there are errors, intern must to start process again.
STAGE 3 - WEEK 3 & 4
Interns must to bring the documents translated.
If all your documents checked out, you must pick them up at M&M to continue the process with NMS. M&M is open from 8:00 am- 5:00 pm and is located on Avenida Paseo del Mar, Costa de Este (Via Google Maps: https://goo.gl/maps/NFEWV8kPTUH2). Ask for Jhoselyn Sanchez and you will be told where to go. With those documents you must go to the National Migration Service.
STAGE 4 - WEEK 4 & 7
After you file you documents you will set an appointment for your temporal ID photo and passport delivery so it can be stamped. This takes about 48h, but the appointment for the photo takes about 3-5 days. The process depends on National Immigration Service.
Visas Partner will tell you that you can pick-up your passport at NMS. You must post your passport here: http://bit.ly/stampedVisas
STAGE 5 - WEEK 7 & 8
After 2 months you will receive your ID and temporary VISA appointment for the final photo and stamping. This takes about 4-6 days. After this time you will go to M&M to receive your documents.
Intern must to dowload the scan of visa in to AIESEC follow its expiration date.

*SNM dictates that your criminal records MUST BE in Spanish, you can translate them in Panama.
